Recently I was asked to create a small display for three, very old family Christmas ornaments. My friend said they belonged to his grandmother and he wanted to display them on a countertop in his living room. After discussing, we decided I would purchase an acrylic cover and create a platform and base to accommodate the three ornaments. I chose figured and quarter sawn walnut for this project. The cover had 45 degree accents on the edges which I replicated on the platform and base.
